TRIATHLON COURSE
| The Swim is held in the clear blue waters of the South China Sea, with little or no current/swell. The ride is on wide, smooth, undulating roads, taking in the lush greenery of Nirwana Gardens and Ria Bintan, finiishing off with a Run through the lush greenery of Nirwana Gardens to the finish. |

Swim
The swim is held in the clear blue waters of the South China Sea, off the picturesque beach of Nirwana Gardens. No or little current and swell are expected thanks to an enclosed bay. Water conditions in May are very good with minimal swell, excellent visibility and a temperature of 29 C.
- Olympic: 1 lap of 1500
- Sprint: 1 lap of 750m
- Youth: 2 laps of 150m
- Kids: 1 lap of 150m

Cycle
The bike course offers wide, smooth, undulating roads, taking in the lush greenery of Nirwana Gardens and Ria Bintan, the wide views of Lagoi Reservoir, the vibrant market Pasar Ole Ole and more. Drink bottles with water will be handed out at the halfway point of the Olympic Distance Triathlon.
- Olympic: 40km
- Sprint: 20km
- Youth: 12km (2 laps of 6km)
- Kids: 6km

Run
The Run Course takes you through the lush greenery and scenic beaches of Nirwana Gardens to a palm tree studded finishing straight. The run course is undulating and generally well shaded. Drink stations (water, isotonic drink and sponges) are available at least every two kilometres.
- Olympic: 2 laps of 5km
- Sprint: 1 lap of 5km
- Youth: 2 laps of 1.5km
- Kids: 1 lap of 1.5km

Fun Race Duo Challenge (teams of 2)
Sign up for the the Fun Race Relay and get started with your 1st biathlon! The Fun Race Challenge is a great way to introduce beginners to the sport of triathlon where distances are shorter and the fun element, higher!
Get your friends, family, colleagues or anyone else to partner up with you to register for the challenge. Teams of 2 have to complete the run and swim legs, and race to the finish piggyback style. Prizes will be given out to teams displaying "outstanding" style, strategy and teamwork!
- The race will start with a 1.5km run, followed by a 150m swim and a piggyback dash to the finish.
- Both team members have to complete the run and swim legs, and the final dash
- Both team members have to start each leg together. The one that arrives first has to wait for the other before starting the next leg.
- The transition area is the meeting point.
